Variable Interleaver Allocation for Downlink OFDM-IDMA

Abstract: In this letter, a variable interleaver allocation scheme is proposed to alleviate the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of downlink OFDM-IDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-interleave division multiple access). The basic idea is to allocate multiple interleaving patterns for each user, so as to decide the best pattern with the lowest peak value.
