Variability of Warming at Mixed Layer Base in the Subtropical South Indian Ocean Salinity Maxima Region

Abstract: <p>Subtropical South Indian Ocean salinity maxima region plays an important role in transporting temperature anomalies towards north along the isopycnals following geostrophic pathways. In this study, interannual and decadal changes in temperature and salinity at the base of mixed layer during austral winters are investigated for the Argo era.
