Abstract:Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) is a demyelinating disorder that usually affects the central nervous system (CNS) after an infection and/or vaccination. It is more common in infancy. Here we present a case of late onset ADEM. A 71-year-old male was admitted to the emergency department due to speech difficulty and somnolence.
