Vancomycin-resistance Transferability from VanA Enterococci to Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract: In last decade methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus with high level of vancomycin-resistance (VRSA) have been reported and generally the patients with VRSA infection were also infected with a vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE).
