Abstract: Establishing a platform for the bioconversion of waste resources into value-added compounds is critical for achieving a sustainable and eco-friendly economy. Herein, we produced polyhydroxyalkanoate via microbial fermentation using cabbage waste as a feedstock and metabolically engineered Escherichia coli.
