Validity of the Diagnostic Interview CRIDI -Autism Spectrum Disorders as a Gold Standard for the Assessment of Autism in Latinos and Mexicans

Abstract: In the United States, Latino population has consistently shown the lowest prevalence rate compared to other racial groups, such as Caucasians, African American and Asians [7-10], more barriers to evidence-based treatments [11], more severe symptoms, and greater rates of intellectual disability at time of diagnosis [12].
