Validity of Laparoscopic Gastrectomy in the Elderly

Abstract: Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the validity of laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery in elderly patients. Methods: A total of 202 patients who underwent laparoscopic gastrectomy for gastric cancer between January 2007 and December 2016 were divided into an elderly group (age ≥75 years, n = 36) and a control group (age < 75 years, n = 166).
