Validation of the Norwegian version of the Social Functioning Scale (SFS) for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder

Abstract: Studies of social functioning in severe mental disorders are disadvantaged by the multitude of different assessment instruments in use. “…The SFS was constructed with the aim of measuring the various aspects of functioning essential for community‐dwelling in individuals with schizophrenia, including social withdrawal, interpersonal relationships, participation in activities, independence, and employment.
