Abstract: The purpose of this study is to validate the previously-validated Taiwan Chinese version of Sleep-Related Breathing Disorder scale (SRBD scale) in Hong Kong Chinese snoring children. SRBD scale is an instrument used for prediction of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. (OSA) The Chinese version of SRBD scale were previously translated and validated in Taiwan. “…Least common in psychometric screening were steps 5 (13.2%), 3 (13.2%), and again 11 (15.1%). ROC analyses were performed in 11 studies (20.8%): ESS (52), AIS and SQI (5), JSQ (58,59), PSQ (108,109,112), CAS-15 (17), CSRQ (47), and Comics (138). Almost fulfilling all steps were: CAS-15 (Goldstein et al, 2012) and Comics (137,138).…”

“…Psychometric studies of particular interest are those that developed normative values or clinical/community cutoff scores for widespread usage, of which there were overall 18. Norms have been developed for CAS-15 (17), ESS (51, 52), JSQ (58,59), SDSC (120,121), CSHQ and CRSP (25,34), CSRQ (47), MEQ (64,65), NARQoL-21 (70), OSPQ (83), PSQ (108), SNAKE (129), Comic (138), and YSIS (140) (refer to Table 2).…”

“…13 SRBD Scale. Five studies [16][17][18][19][20] assessed the SRBD scale of the Pediatric Sleep Questionnaire. They all included DTA data using a score cutoff of 0.33 to diagnose OSA as defined by an AHI > 1 or 1.5.…”

“…El PSQ fue descrito en once estudios (74,166,169,177,179,185,190,191,194,195,197) y su versión resumida de 22 preguntas, la escala SRBD, fue descrita en seis artículos (84, 165,168,170,173,189). Como en su versión original desarrollada por Chervin RD y cols.…”

Por lo general, se observó que en todas (74,84,166,169,179,191,197) a excepción de dos (170,177), se halló un valor satisfactorio para la sensibilidad, que fue siempre mayor del 80%.…”
