Validation of Self-Reported Smoking Status Among Orthopedic Hip Surgery Patients

Abstract: Purpose The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of self-reported non-smoking status in subjects undergoing elective orthopedic surgery as confirmed by serum cotinine levels.
