Đặt vấn đề: WHO-5 là một công cụ tự báo cáo chung được sử dụng rộng rãi để đo lường sức khỏe tâm lý, đặc biệt WHO-5 cố gắng đo lường mức độ dễ chịu của cảm xúc. Còn rất ít nghiên cứu tập trung vào tâm lý hạnh phúc. Đặc biệt, thời gian qua, thành phố Hồ Chí Minh là tâm dịch lớn nhất của cả nước. Việc hướng dẫn bệnh nhân tự chăm sóc, theo dõi sức khỏe thì giải tỏa những vấn đề về tâm lý cần được quan tâm. Mục tiêu: Mô tả mức độ hạnh phúc theo WHO-5 và tìm hiểm một số yếu tố liên quan ở bệnh nhân mắc COVID 19 nhẹ được điều trị tại nhà. Đối tượng và phương pháp: Thực hiện nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang ở 685 bệnh nhân bằng form google với chỉ số hạnh phúc WHO-5 tại thành phố Hồ Chí Minh từ 1/2022-3/2022. Kết quả: Điểm trung bình chỉ số hạnh phúc WHO-5 là 8± 6.04. Sau khi phân nhóm điểm cắt 13, cho thấy 74.3% đối tượng nghiên cứu thiếu hạnh phúc. Có mối liên quan có ý nghĩa thống kê giữa mức độ hạnh phúc và giới tính, nơi cư trú, trình độ học vấn, lo so lây nhiễm COVID-19 cho các thành viên khác sống chung, cảm thấy những người sống chung hoặc cộng đồng xa lánh, kì thị vì mình bị nhiễm covid-19 với p<0.05. Kết luận: Bệnh nhân COVID nhẹ điều trị tại nhà thiếu hạnh phúc cao. Cho nên, cần được hỗ trợ để giảm tỷ lệ này, đặc biệt là vấn đề lây nhiễm cho người thân và sự kì thị của những người xung quanh.

PurposeAlthough the study of factors that promote employee well-being is not a new research area, the impact of managerial caring and perceived insider status on subjective employee well-being is a relatively new and unexplored area within the management literature. Therefore, this study examined the relationship between managerial caring and subjective employee well-being while considering the mediating effect of perceived insider status. Based on social identity theory, the study hypothesized that perceived insider status mediates the link between managerial caring and subjective employee well-being.Design/methodology/approachThe study analyzed data from 193 employees working across various industries in the United Arab Emirates using Process Macro Model 4.FindingsThe findings revealed a positive relationship between managerial caring and employee well-being, which was influenced by the mediating effect of perceived insider status.Originality/valueThe study’s results, which shed light on the process by which managerial caring positively affects employee well-being, provide valuable insights for developing a caring workplace. The findings make a significant contribution to the literature on managerial caring by explaining how the mediating role of perceived insider status influences the relationship between managerial caring and subjective employee well-being.

Background The WHO-5 Wellbeing Index is a widely used tool for assessing psychological well-being. Despite its global application, its adaptation and validation for the Azerbaijani population had not been previously explored. This study aims to fill this gap by adapting the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index for Azerbaijani adults and examining its relationship with psychological distress, resilience, and life satisfaction. Methods A sample of 875 Azerbaijani adults aged 18 to 89 (mean age = 29.13, SD = 10.98) participated in this study. The adaptation process included confirmatory factor analysis to test the original 5-item structure of the index in the Azerbaijani context. Additionally, item response theory analysis was employed to evaluate the discriminative values of the items. Reliability was assessed through various methods, including Cronbach’s alpha, McDonald’s omega, and Guttmann’s lambda. Results Confirmatory factor analysis supported the original 5-item structure of the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index for the Azerbaijani sample, demonstrating alignment with the index’s original version. All items showed acceptable discriminative values in item response theory analysis. The index also exhibited sufficient reliability, as evidenced by Cronbach’s alpha, McDonald’s omega, and Guttmann’s lambda. Correlation and network analyses indicated significant associations of the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index with psychological distress, resilience, and life satisfaction. Specifically, the index was negatively correlated with depression, anxiety, and stress, and positively correlated with resilience and life satisfaction. Conclusion The findings suggest that the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index is a valid and reliable tool for assessing psychological well-being in the Azerbaijani population. Its significant associations with psychological distress, resilience, and life satisfaction further affirm its utility in this cultural context.
