“…O 1s spectra was deconvoluted into two distinguishable peaks with the lower binding energy peak at ~529 eV corresponding to cation are doubly bonded or ionically bonded to oxygen atom. Higher binding energy at ~531 eV is covalently bonded to two atoms (Fe-O-Fe/Co-O-Co/Fe-O-Co) that forms a garnet structure [42,43]. The ratio of the integrated areas of the lower and higher binding peaks, O 1s (2) In summary, the XPS results obtained in this report (i) relates to XRD observations conforming the single cubic phase of the garnet ferrite without having an impurity (ii) deconvolution distribution indicated that Co, Fe is predominantly in an oxidized state (Fe 3+ and Fe 2+ ), (Co 2+ and Co 3+ ) at observed intensities changes with respect to dopant.…”

“…The spectrum exhibits signals characteristic of trivalent iron. Partial oxidation of iron to 3+ in the nanocomposite is confirmed by the coincidence of energies of the high-energy peak with the maximum of the spectrum of iron-yttrium garnet taken as the standard of trivalent iron [12]. Fig.…”
