Vague soft set relations and functions

Abstract: Molodtsov introduced the theory of soft sets as a generalized tool for modelling complex systems involving uncertain or not clearly defined objects. In this paper the concepts of vague soft set relations are introduced as a sub-vague soft set of the Cartesian product of the vague soft sets and related concepts such as equivalent vague soft set relation, partition, composition and function along with some properties and illustrative examples.

“…The defined operations of Triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy number (TCHFN) give us more accurate than the existing operators. This further enhanced the idea of decision making besides the established Q-fuzzy sets [44][45][46] and vague sets [47][48][49].…”

“…The issue of the supplier selection is reduced by using the neutrosophic group ANP-TOPSIS method [59], while the evaluation of e-government websites uses the neutrosophic VIKOR method [60]. Other interesting work on MADM is diverse in its direction [61][62][63][64][65][66][67][68][69][70][71][72][73].…”

“…Soft set [5] is another commonly used method in handling uncertainties. It has been extended extensively to fuzzy soft set [6], vague soft set [7][8][9] and neutrosophic soft set [10]. Although these concepts are widely applicable to different life branches, they lack the ability to handle two-dimensional problems.…”
