UV C Light from a Light-Emitting Diode at 275 Nanometers Shortens Wound Healing Time in Bacterium- and Fungus-Infected Skin in Mice

Abstract: As a common clinical problem, the therapy of SSTIs is facing growing challenges due to an increase in the number of drug-resistant bacteria and fungi. UV C (UVC) light sterilization has been widely used in all aspects of daily life, but there are very few reports about in vivo therapy using UVC light.
