Abstract:Fulminant necrotizing eosinophilic myocarditis (FNEM) is a rare but
potentially fatal form of myocarditis characterized by new onset heart
failure, often requiring inotropic and mechanical circulatory support
(MCS). If clinical suspicion for the diagnosis is high, early
endomyocardial biopsy (EMB) followed by prompt immunosuppressive therapy
may prevent further decompensation and death.
