Abstract:In this study, Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) technology was used to diagnose osteoporosis through nail analysis. The study focused on measuring calcium concentration in nails as an indicator of bone density and osteoporosis diagnosis. Samples were collected from a healthy individual and a person with osteoporosis from Al-Hillah Teaching Hospital.
