“…This variance may be attributed to the fact that the study in Kastina state was done among college students who are more advance in age, exposure and possibly are more knowledgeable and by implications are better informed to take better decision when sick to use the school health services. Also a study in Calabar, Nigeria reported that 92.3% of the respondents utilized school health services compared to the present study which reported a far lower percentage of utilization [11]. The higher level of utilization in this study as against the present study may be as a result of difference in socio-demographic characteristics of respondents.…”
