Utilization of Kurikulum Merdeka to develop diversity character at Mentari Ambarawa School

Abstract

ARTICLE INFOGood education races in an independent curriculum that promotes freedom in regulating learning patterns. A good education will produce good character in diversity. This study aims to analyze the results of using the independent curriculum in developing the character of diversity in children. The method used in this research is a phenomenological qualitative approach that relates to the findings. The subjects of this study were class teachers and observation to 25 students. Data collection techniques are done by observing, interviewing, and documenting. Data analysis by doing data reduction, presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the use of the independent curriculum to develop the character of diversity that has been implemented results in students becoming more polite in their actions, then adding broader insights related to diversity and full or supportive support in the implementation of other people's religious activities. The results of this study have implications related to the character of diversity which can be developed by applying independent curriculum-based teaching. And implementing an independent curriculum to form children's character who is high intolerance
