Abstract: Introduction Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a rare but life-threatening condition, characterized by thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) that results in microangiopathic hemolytic anemia (MAHA), thrombocytopenia and clinical symptoms including altered mental status, renal impairment and fever.
