Utilitarian Ethical Triage Bayesian Decisions With Monetary Value During COVID-19 - A Bayesian Probability Analysis

Abstract: Utilitarian ethical triage decisions with monetary value are complex and difficult to estimate, with possible benefits for a patient compared to other patients. The triage includes social and bioethical factors. A new approach addresses risk probabilities to improve triage decisions. Admission to the (ICU) Intensive Care Unit and the allocation of ventilators for patients is based on a risk-based comorbidity score.
