Abstract:This study investigates the utilisation of coal tar naphthalene oil fraction (CTNOF), an economical by-product derived from the iron-steel industry, for the production of valuable chemicals, with a particular focus on methylnaphthalenes (MNs) and dimethylnaphthalenes (DMNs).
