Uterine Receptivity in Merriam's Kangaroo Rat (Dipodomys merriami)

Abstract: The uterine surface undergoes significant remodeling, termed the “plasma membrane transformation,” during pregnancy to allow for implantation of the blastocyst and formation of the placenta in viviparous amniote vertebrates.
