“…Our study found that uterine artery RI, PI and S/D ratio did not significantly differe among miscarriage group compared to ongoing pregnancy group. El-Behery et al (16) found a relation between the unilateral elevation of uterine arteries PI in the first trimester and the subsequent occurrence of miscarriage, which disagree with our results.…”

“…Mean PI of the uterine artery of abnormal pregnancy in our study was significantly lower than PI of healthy women at early pregnancy. This finding was similar to results of Behery et al (20) study which revealed lower means of uterine artery PI in early pregnancy for women with the abnormal outcome than women with normal pregnancy.…”

“…In a study by Pellizzari et al, pregnancies complicated by vaginal bleeding during gestational week 6-12 were compared with unproblematic pregnancies, and no difference was observed in the Doppler parameters between incomplete abortion, missed abortion, imminent abortion, and normal pregnancies (16). Behery et al conducted a study with 90 cases diagnosed with threatened miscarriage in the first trimester and 50 controls and found that patients who developed missed abortion during their follow-up showed a statistically significant increase in unilateral PI in their UtA Doppler results (24). However, all these studies were generally done in the first trimester, when there is vaginal bleeding.…”
