Abstract: ResumoAs lesões musculoesqueléticas que ocorrem durante a prática esportiva em equinos são debilitantes e demandam um longo período de tratamento e reabilitação, para muitas vezes obter-se após o tratamento apenas um tecido cicatricial, predispondo à recidiva.
