Using Tobamoviruses for Phylogenetic Instruction in Undergraduate Biology Courses

Abstract: Microbial diversity and taxonomy instruction provide an ideal opportunity to introduce students to basic bioinformatics skills. There are many ways to illustrate evolutionary relationships between microorganisms using phylogenetic trees.
