“…Originally developed in the field of social psychology, the theory has been applied to a wide range of management topics, such as information systems and e-commerce adoption (Pavlou & Fygenson, 2006), knowledge sharing in organizations (Bock, Zmud, Kim, & Lee, 2005), open source software development (Bagozzi & Dholakia, 2006), and ethical decision making in business organizations (Stevens, Steensma, Harrison, & Cochran, 2005).
