Numerous studies have indicated that proximity to nature positively affects human well-being. Landscape planning and related techniques have been widely implemented to achieve balance between natural environments and human society, thereby contributing to human well-being. This study examines peer-reviewed empirical research using scientometric analysis and systematic review to clarify how landscape planning enhances human well-being. On analysing 439 documents, we found a significant increase in publications by multidisciplinary teams in this research area from 2016 to date. There was an uneven global distribution of publications, with most institutions cooperating within the same continent. These findings suggest the potential for greater international collaboration in the future. We identified three main research topics in this field, traced their dynamic development, and highlighted intangible values requiring attention. Moreover, we proposed a loop of ‘naturalness-landscape structures-landscape services-human well-being’ which includes four intermediary steps to illustrate how landscape planning can improve human well-being. This loop clarifies the pathway between landscape planning approaches and human well-being, thus providing a foundation for future research. Overall, this research highlights the conceptual pathways of landscape planning in promoting human well-being and calls for further investigation to fully understand this complex relationship.

The lagoon systems have a varied biodiversity that harbors thousands of species of flora and fauna, which are harmed by anthropogenic activities; therefore, the present research aimed to estimate the Willingness to Pay (WTP) for the conservation of ecosystem services damaged by mining in the Pías Lagoon, Pataz Province, 2022; For this purpose, a questionnaire consisting of 22 questions was applied, divided into general data, socioeconomic factor, level of information and willingness to pay; these were filtered in the SPSS statistical software, to obtain a suitable degree of reliability through the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient; for the estimation of WTP, the STATA 16 statistical software was applied. 0, obtaining an individual value of S/. 9.00; monthly of S/. 5,592.61; and annual of S/. 67,111.37. It was identified that the majority of the population does not know about the ES provided by the lagoon. In addition, the length of residence, educational level, employment status, income, housing material and type of lighting, and water supply are socioeconomic factors that influence WTP. Finally, it was identified that in the lagoon there are Provision, Regulation, Cultural and Support Ecosystem Services.

Following the EU's abolition of the milk quota in 2015, Irish farmers had the opportunity to increase their production without market constrains for the first time over 30 years. In Latvia, the Bioeconomy Strategy has set targets to 1) increase added value from traditional bioeconomy sectors, namely agriculture and forestry, from EUR 2.33 billion in 2016 to EUR 3.8 billion in 2030; 2) to increase the value of exported goods from EUR 4.26 billion in 2016 to at least EUR 9 billion in 2030; and 3) to ensure that employment is provided for 128,000 inhabitants (LIBRA2030, 2017). MEETING MULTIPLE OBJECTIVES: EXISTING RESEARCHAssessments of ecosystem services provided by land resources are very complex, as the evaluation of the land-based ecosystem services provided depends on the scientific field represented by the researcher, the researcher's understanding of the definitions and the available data (Bouma, 2014;Calzolari et al., 2016;Haygarth and Ritz, 2009). On the other hand, the demand for land-based ecosystem services is created by society, state policy planning documents and international agreements. Assessment of land-based ecosystem services requires the involvement of a diverse team of scientists, as soil resources are heterogeneous, and yields within a single farm can differ greatly due to different on-site variables, micro-topography and soil heterogeneity. The FLM approach was developed to provide a framework for the assessment of the land-based ecosystem services provided by farmland and the demand for those resources.
