Using Remote Sensing Techniques in Environmental Management

Abstract: The Geographical Information Systems technology is used in many fields where the spatial information is very important and relevant, that means in all fields that use a system for saving, analyzing and representing the data which are processed. The aim of this paper is using modern technology for monitoring the environment. Geographical Information System together with remote sensing have a very important role in decision process regarding the environment. Integration of remote sensing images in a Geographical… Show more

“…(Pop et al, 2013;Ortelecan et al, 2014;Farcaș et al, 2016;Sestraș et al, 2016) Thus, in order to ensure the compliant functionality of some special equipment or constructions, it is necessary to significantly increase the accuracy of the engineering geodetic measurements. (Ficior et al, 2011;Herbei et al, 2016;Manea et al, 2016) In the case of conventional positioning in the field of classical constructions, the necessary equipment is sufficient to achieve accuracies for determining a direction of ± 10cc, which would mean a medium-precision theodolite; in the case of the installation of some industrial equipment, the precision requirements, make that in the choice of the equipment necessary for this type of works a much more careful analysis is imposed on the possibilities offered. Savu et al, 2015;Păunescu et al, 2016;Sălăgean et al, 2016;Nap et al, 2019) This review studied the latest measurement techniques usable in positioning, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages, in order to make them available to those interested, with benefits in terms of efficiency and accuracy in addressing this type of work.…”

“…The technical function of the cadastre aims to determine the position, configuration and size of land areas and buildings. These data are obtained through operations specific to the fields of geodesy, topography, photogrammetry and cartography (Herbei et al, 2016;Moscovici et al, 2016;Ortelecan et al, 2016).…”
