In the context of the Internet of Things (IoT), contemporary theology embraces new forms and formats. While there have undeniably been negative ramifications, the IoT has made it easier for humans to carry out cultural mandates efficiently and effectively. This paper explores a variety of contemporary theologies that aim to adopt technology in a comprehensive way without eliminating Christian orthodoxy and thereby forge a new theology rooted in the emerging paradigm of the internet of things.
