Abstract: Drawing from the research of green supply chain management and corporate social responsibility, this paper proposes a hierarchical structure of sustainable supply chain management and develops a multiitem measurement scale to reflect the specific management practices of sustainable supply chain management. In this research, sustainable supply chain management is operationalised as a third-order factor reflected by three second-order factors, namely external green supply chain management, internal green supply chain management and corporate social responsibility. Utilising a rigorous, multi-step scale development method and data from 293 Chinese manufacturers, this paper validates a 31-item measurement scale and approve the proposed third-order structure. The results confirm the multidimensionality of sustainable supply chain management, which suggests that it is necessary for the future researches to consider both environmental and social aspects. The valid measurement scales provide managers with a "to do list" to make the specific business decisions to achieve sustainable development in the supply chain.A third-order model of sustainable supply chain management is proposed.The measurement scales of sustainable supply chain management are developed. Evaluation of the implementation and performance of a firm's green supply chain management (GSCM) is an ongoing process. Balanced scorecard is a multi-criteria evaluation concept that highlights implementation and performance measures. The literature on the framework is abundant literature but scarce on how to build a hierarchical framework under uncertainty with dependence relations. Hence, this study proposes a hybrid approach, which includes applied interpretive structural modeling to build a hierarchical structure and uses the analytic network process to analyze the dependence relations. Additionally, this study applies the fuzzy set theory to determine linguistic preferences. Twenty dependence criteria are evaluated for a GSCM implemented firm in Taiwan. The result shows that the financial aspect and life cycle assessment are the most important performance and weighted criteria.

Abstract. Buildings were responsible for over 30% of total Chinese energy consumption in 2010. With a wild range of climate conditions and a separate air conditioning structure in campus buildings, it is significant but difficult to assess the energy performance of campus buildings in China. This paper proposes a novel mechanism to assess energy performance of campus buildings, using a fuzzy analytic network process (FANP). Six criteria are used as key performance indicators based on climate conditions in China and the air conditioning device deployment structure in campus buildings: 1) building envelope; 2) renewable energy; 3) illumination; 4) thermal comfort; 5) window and door; and 6) occupation status. A simulation is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, analyzing three different rooms in the International School of Software, at Wuhan University. Assessment results are discussed in terms of optimizing future energy performance of campus buildings.
