Parabolic motion is the typical phenomenon in classical mechanics. The students are able to understand the concept by reading the data in the parabolic function. However, there is limited material for visual impaired students to study the parabolic motion data. One of the solutions to overcome this problem is the parabolic motion experiment development using sonification method. Research has been carried out to analyze the accuracy of the frequency produced by the speakers in data conversion assisted by Arduino Uno. The research also analyzes the effect of elevation angle variations on the resulting frequency changes. The data collection process is carried out by analyzing the percentage of accuracy using the average technique of the data recorded by the Phyphox application. The data analysis of the Phyphox application is compared with the data obtained from the Tracker application. From the results of data analysis obtained the percentage value of the velocity for the angle 30o, 45o, and 70o were 99.92%, 99.67%, and 98.42%, respectively. Therefore, it can be said that the preliminary sonification study is feasible to be used in physics experiments on parabolic motion learning, especially for visual impaired students. The final plotting result of this research shows that the frequency versus time at each angle produces a graph in the parabolic form. While the effect of angle variations on frequency changes is that the larger the angle, the slower it will reach the peak frequency.

Symbolic, spatial, and visual information, which is important for comprehending and learning physical and natural sciences, is not readily accessible to blind and low-vision (BLV) students in the undergraduate chemistry classroom, laboratory, and virtual environment via conventional means (through print and images), thus, creating a disadvantageous and inequitable situation. Appropriate instruction methods can be used to include these differently abled students in the learning process while also enhancing the learning outcomes of a diverse student population. By considering the teaching approach and universal design practices, and utilizing adapted methods, collaborative learning, and nonvisual assistive technologies and equipment, chemistry classroom/ laboratory work for BLV students can be transformed from a passive experience to an active one. By creating the least restrictive learning environment, BLV students are enabled to become independent workers. Nonvisual ways (i.e., auditory, and text-to-speech applications, speech-enabled equipment, tactile graphics, and physical artifacts) by which BLV students can conduct their work are described, and practical ways for faculty to enhance teaching are presented.

We propose SonOpt, the first (open source) data sonification application for monitoring the progress of bi-objective populationbased optimization algorithms during search, to facilitate algorithm understanding. SonOpt provides insights into convergence/stagnation of search, the evolution of the approximation set shape, location of recurring points in the approximation set, and population diversity. The benefits of data sonification have been shown for various non-optimization related monitoring tasks. However, very few attempts have been made in the context of optimization and their focus has been exclusively on single-objective problems. In comparison, SonOpt is designed for biobjective optimization problems, relies on objective function values of non-dominated solutions only, and is designed with the user (listener) in mind; avoiding convolution of multiple sounds and prioritising ease of familiarizing with the system. This is achieved using two sonification paths relying on the concepts of wavetable and additive synthesis. This paper motivates and describes the architecture of SonOpt, and then validates SonOpt for two popular multi-objective optimization algorithms (NSGA-II and MOEA/D).
