(18) The multidisciplinary physical therapies team at the Rio Olympic Games comprised of 250 physiotherapists, 190 sports massage practitioners, 30 osteopaths and 30 chiropractors, all of whom were certified and licenced to practice in accordance with Olympic health care requirements. Each member of the Physical Therapies team for Rio 2016 was required to volunteer for 10 days all members were required to work 8 hours a day on average, there were two daily rotas: 7am to 3pm and 2pm to 11pm.…”
