Use of wastes of rubble crushing in self-compacting concrete

Abstract: Use of wastes of rubble crushing in the concrete structure allows improving physical and mechanical properties and resolving the issue of recycling. Their use as fillers in self- compacting concrete will reduce costs and improve the economic attractiveness of this material. In the course of the research the compounds of self-compacting concrete with the use of waste powder of rubble crushing were obtained. For such concretes the optimal superplasticizer, featuring additional stabilizing effect that allows obt… Show more

“…It is consideredthat the stress-strain indicatorsof self-compacting concrete do not make it different from common concrete (at anequal water-binder ratio), but this type of concrete considerably exceeds heavy concrete by performance characteristics such as strength, durability, water tightness etc [6,7,8]. The high technological effectiveness and no need for subsequent repair of concrete structures make it possible to increase the demand for self-compacting concrete every year.…”

“…It is efficient to improve the environmental situation in the regions with developed industry [9][10][11][12][13]. The effective application of multicomponent active mineral admixtures in gypsum cement-pozzolanic system, such as milled furnace slag and bergmeal, zeolite-containing primary rocks and limestone, zeolite-containing primary rocks and silica fume [14], milled ceramsite dust and granulated blast-furnace slag in conjunction with lime and superplasticizing admix [15] has been reported.…”
