Use of semantic segmentation for mapping Sargassum on beaches

Abstract: The unusual arrival of Sargassum on Caribbean beaches is an emerging problem that has generated numerous challenges. The monitoring, visualization, and estimation of Sargassum coverage on the beaches remain a constant complication.
