“…The manufacture of the electrochromic windows is based on references [ 1 , 25 , 26 ]. However, the electropolymerization was carried out with a self-made potentiostat and a self-made electrosynthesis cell.…”

“…34 Previously, complementary ECD based on organic polymers such as cathodically coloring poly(3,4ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) and anodically coloring bis(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-N-methylcarbazole (PBE-DOT-NMCz) were reported. 35 The oxidized form of PEDOT and the reduced form of PBEDOT-NMCz constitute the bleached state. Both reduced PEDOT and oxidized PBEDOT-NMCz show a dark blue color.…”

“…Combining NiHCF with cathodically coloring Fe(II)-based metallo-supramolecular polymer results in a durable complementary ECD with low energy consumption . Previously, complementary ECD based on organic polymers such as cathodically coloring poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) and anodically coloring bis(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)- N -methylcarbazole (PBEDOT-NMCz) were reported . “…Hence, in this work, LiTFSI salt is doped into PEO since it has a bulky anion, which suppresses crys-tallization of the polymer [6] and it has low dissociation energy so that it can easily be dissociated into ions, which in turn contribute to ionic conductivity enhancement. The polymer electrolyte PEO-LiTFSI is also incorporated with ionic liquid as plasticizer, which is thought to enhance both ionic conductivity and safety of the polymer electrolyte at the same time [7]. The ionic liquid helps to dissociate more salt leading to higher ionic conductivity since it increases the amorphous region, dissociate ion aggregates and lowers the glass transition tempearature [8].…”
