Use of personal protective equipment: approach to effectiveness in preventing infectious diseases

Abstract: Introduction: Communicable infectious diseases are caused by micro-organisms that need a reservoir, being the main cause of death in the 1930s, accounting for 45.7% of deaths in Brazil.
