Use of patient navigators to increase HPV vaccination rates in a pediatric clinical population

Abstract: Highlights Educating health providers is a strategy to increase vaccination rates in teenagers <13 years of age. A patient navigation program helped to shift HPV vaccination from 13 to 17 year olds more frequently to 9–12 year olds. The patient navigation program resulted in an increased odds of HPV vaccination compared to clinics without this program.
