Abstract:BackgroundNearly half of the cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) cases in French Guiana occur in remote rainforest areas. The treatment of pentamidine‐resistant strains currently requires hospitalisation for intravenous amphotericin, involving significant indirect costs.
