Use of magnetotherapy in complex treatment and rehabilitation of patients with osteoarthritis (based on consensus of specialists for therapists and general practitioners of polyclinics)

Abstract: Difficulties in treating patients with rheumatological diseases are due to the complexity and versatility of pathogenesis, frequent comorbidity and advanced age of the majority of such patients. The use of non-pharmacological methods of treatment, including physical methods, enhances the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, improves tissue trophism and promotes the activation of reparative processes, slows down the progression of the disease and generally improves the quality of life of patients.
