Use of Fourier transform for defining diagnostic parameters of car wheel

Abstract: In this paper the problem of wheel imbalance is taken into consideration. An approach is presented based on spectral analysis of acceleration measured on vehicle chassis. The goal is to work out an analytical and theoretical basis for design of relatively cheap diagnostic devices for diagnostic during drive in normal road traffic conditions.
