“…32 On reliability, the Modified Incremental Step Test and the Step Test Protocol were the only tests with an appropriate time interval, 30,33 with tests conducted on different days. Responsiveness for the step tests was evaluated in patients undergoing pulmonary rehabilitation (six-minute Step Test, 46 and six-minute Stepper Test), 36,37,43,50,52,[56][57][58][59] physical training program (threeminute Step Test, 48 and six-minute Step Test 45,47 ), pharmacological treatment -bronchodilator (threeminute Step Test 49 ), physical activity counseling program (two-minute Step Test), 44 and photobiomodulation therapy (six-minute Stepper Test 51 ). However, only the six-minute Stepper Test presented appropriate statistical analysis in two articles, 36,37 according to the correlations between the changes in the number of steps and changes in the six-minute walk test (distance) in pulmonary rehabilitation.…”

“…21 The small amount of evidence supporting the use of guidebooks in PR programs suggested that the use of this resource may help maintain the positive effects of the initial PR program in terms of exercise performance, through an illustrated and structured book. 29 The use of pedometers in the studies included in this SLR allowed no conclusion that could help determine if this strategy contributed to the maintenance of PR benefits. 3,18,20 The literature has shown that the use of pedometers in the context of PR programs for COPD patients, has been intended to provide feedback on physical activity levels.…”
