Usage of Building Information Modelling for Evaluation of Energy Efficiency

Abstract: The article describes a specialized building information model implemented in a Matlab environment. It is designed to evaluate the energy efficiency of a building. It is supporting water, heat and electricity as resources consumed during the usage phase of a building. The danger of global warming, natural resources depletion and world ecosystem collapse currently is constantly increasing. When this happens 45% of world’s energy consumption, 65% of electric power, 40% of raw materials, building industry uses … Show more

“…Summarizing the presented logical and conceptual scheme as a whole, it should be noted that it is the paradigm of the subject matter "complex" -"convergence" which includes the main challenges of scientific-and-technical advance to the traditional understanding of the industry [1][2][3][4][5][8][9][10][11][12][13] and at the same time the quality effects of progress in creative activity for the upcoming next 25 years.…”

“…In compliance with the conditions described for the determination of the measures of processes changing the parameters of building composed expression (1). Here measure of each process is defined as the sum of energetic ( Thus, quantitative expression of the significance of each process (cr) is a relative dimensionless weight coefficient characterizing the share of this process in the overall balance of heat and mass transfer processes of changing the state of parameters of building.…”

“…Intelligence of buildings as it shown on [1] is not an abstract concept but the value liable to objective numerical assessment. For such purpose used an approach consisted of taking the coefficient of intelligence of building as a ratio of the measure of processes controlling the change of observable parameters of building that are functionally adaptive to its own conditions area to the measure of all processes controlling the change of values of observable parameters of building.…”

“…In Smart cities, the issues of regulation of receipt, movement, disposal and treatment of CDW can be solved on the basis of construction and demolition waste using information model, i.e. obtaining information on the composition, objects of formation, volumes of processing and disposal of waste on the basis of technological regulations included in the project documentation ( [9][10][11][12][13][14][15]).…”

“…All waste producers, regardless of the form of ownership and departmental affiliation, are required to have technical and technological documentation regulating the process of handling the construction and demolition waste generated by them in the form of technological regulations. It should reflect complete and accurate information on the whole process of waste management and demolition from the moment of their formation to the moment of their use or disposal ( [16][17][18][19][20][21]).…”
