US socio-political thought on the forms of government in the post-Soviet states

Abstract: The article attempts to examine the views of some representatives of US socio-political thought on the political form of government in the post-Soviet states. A significant place in the article is given to the description of the mythologeme about the threat to Western countries from the “global” authoritarianism in the person of Russia, China and other countries.
