Ureteroscopic Treatment of Upper-Tract Urothelial Lesions: A Novel Technique

Abstract

We describe a simple and effective method of using a stone-extraction basket and electrocautery to treat pedunculated renal-pelvic neoplasms ureteroscopically. This technique may make it easier to obtain tissue from the urothelium and reduce operative times.
