Zusammenfassung
Im künstlichen Pansen wurde in sterilem Pansensaft die Harnstoff‐Freisetzung aus verschiedenen Zubereitungen untersucht. Kristalliner und geprillter Harnstoff in mehligem Futter löst sich in wenigen Minuten vollständig auf. Die Freisetzung aus Pellets, insbesondere großen und harten, dauert eine Stunde oder länger. Nach Vermahlung dieser Pellets löst sich der Harnstoff wieder sehr schnell (5–10 Minuten). Bei zusätzlicher Harnstoffbindung an Schnitzel dauert die Gesamtherauslösung aus den Pellets 1 bis 2 Stunden. Bindung in gelatiniertem Stärkegranulat verzögert ebenfalls die Freisetzung. Nach Ingestion werden die Pellets von einem relativ dauerhaften Schutzfilm aus Speichel, Rauhfutter und Getreideteilchen eingehüllt. Dieser verzögert die Pellet‐auflösung erheblich. Die N‐Verluste bei Lagerung harnstoffhaltiger Futtermittel betrugen bis zu 25 % des Harnstoff‐N, besonders bei weichen Pellets. Schnitzelgebundener Harnstoff wurde voll wiedergefunden.
