Abstract:Pesquisa-se o impacto das doenças cardiovasculares no Rio de Janeiro do século XIX. Elas tiveram impacto maior no ambiente urbano, menor em áreas transitivas entre o rural e o urbano, e menor ainda no ambiente nitidamente rural.
