“…A study conducted by Sulemana et al (2019) found evidence of a positive relationship between urbanisation growth and income inequality in the region. According to Qiu and Zhao (2019), income inequality is higher in exclusive cities because skilled workers are relatively rare in exclusive cities that can enjoy higher skill premiums. Then, the urban population growth decreases with increasing human development, so urban growth reduces population growth because urban communities prefer to improve the quality of children rather than the number of children as in rural communities.…”
