Urban Heat Islands: Beating the Heat with Multi-Modal Spatial Analysis

Abstract: In today's highly urbanized environment, the Urban Heat Island (UHI) phenomenon is increasingly prevalent where surface temperatures in urbanized areas are found to be much higher than surrounding rural areas.
