Urban energy system management for enhanced energy potential for upcoming smart cities

Abstract: Scientific and industrial development has given rise to a rapidly increasing energy demand. Alternative and augmented energy resources are expected everywhere due to scarcity and depletion of other non-renewable resources. During recent years wind and solar had emerged as a promising cleaner energy source to offer a favourable solution with better efficiency. Hence, the attention has now diverted towards scaling up of hybrid system of energy generation. Numerous attempts have been taken to demonstrate the tech… Show more

“…One more important issue is the perspective of the greening of vehicles that move on the roads nearby UC. This case should necessarily include the modification of traditional fuels and the introduction of a variety of alternative types of fuels and energy (Vasylkevych, 2016;Vasylkevych, 2017;Butler, 2020;Kumar, 2020). According to Hem (1970), it is possible to estimate quite accurately the salinity (mineralization) of the 5 investigated systems with the help of measurements of the electrical conductivity of solutions (in particular, water 6 soil extracts, water samples, etc.).…”

“…The energy crisis may lead to an increase in energy prices, exacerbating economic recession, triggering geopolitical tensions, and exacerbating environmental issues, with serious impacts on the global economy. The traditional energy system has the problem of emitting large amounts of greenhouse gases and relying on limited fossil fuels, which has prompted people to shift towards the use of renewable energy [2]. However, due to the intermittency and volatility of renewable energy, the utilisation of a single energy source is difficult to meet stable energy needs [3].…”

“…The improvement of power supply reliability is a principal issue for modern society (Krupenev et al, 2020). Power systems should guarantee reasonable quality and continuity under optimal operating costs (Kumar, 2020). Since the 21st century, the safety and reliability of power system operations have greatly improved.…”
