Uranium mining and milling: the need for reference materials in environmental radioactivity monitoring programmes

Abstract: Environmental radioactivity monitoring programmes are now implemented in many countries around legacy uranium mining and milling sites and current uranium mining sites and include, for example, the analyses of soil, plant, meat and water samples.
